Thanks to an inspiring email from Gail and some prayer time about my work environment...the infamous office change and other things going on at work... I realized that everything that was bugging me had to do with me and not necessarily the students we serve. So, it's important to respond and act in the students' best interest....not on what I want and desire. I am right where God wants me to be in order to do His will ans serve the students.
I will start work tomorrow with a renewed sense of purpose......right now I m at home with my sick daughter. I hope she gets well soon....I don't handle vomiting very well.
I think it's a good practice to check yourself and assess what's really important.
Double Slit Ahead of Single Slit?

Arlisa, who is sick? I don't handle vomiting very well, either, so I feel you.
ReplyDeleteOn another note; it's only human to loose focus on what's really important. As a consultant it's always a challenge for me because, depending on the assignment, I am "demoted" and "promoted" all the time :o) I do sometimes remind my customers when they ask me to do something like "screen prints" how much they are paying me to do something their administrative assistant could do. Sometimes I just do it and enjoy the mindless work :o)
